Wow dude, I'm glad you're alright!
I'll wait patiently to see you in the shop again and ask about circumstances of things that I'm wondering. I'm glad you didn't have any worse injuries!
Jarod, I will see you around
So sorry to hear about your accident. Best wishes for a speedy recovery and return to competition.
(guy from Minot you met at Pipestem and Iron creek)
Thank you Jason.
Sorry to hear about this, Dan. I was looking forward to seeing you down in Ogden. You were definitely missed. Hoping for a speedy, complete recovery.
John. Yeah, I wish I had been there. How was your race? I just felt ready and I had big hopes regarding this race. Recovery goes very slowly. No Worlds for me either this year. I'm already looking at the 2014 season.
It was a good time in Ogden. It was my first time down there and there is some great riding. The race was fun, but challenging. The swim was 2K+ and I was in the water for a LONG time. The longer the swim, the further I get behind. The bike is challenging, but fun. It is too bad to do all that climbing and not get to enjoy much of descent. Nothing special on the run, but the first climb is a challenge. Despite the advertised 6.5 miles, it was actually closer to 5.6. Overall,a good time.
I don't know if you heard, but the announced your absence at the Friday dinner. Something like "one of the top age groupers, DM, will be missing tomorrow". And you were missed.
